Michael Tomalik was born 1987 in Ostrava, in Czech Republic.
He studied product and interior design
at Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague in Czech Republic,
at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle in Germany,
and University of Technology Brno in Czech Republic.


His work is primarily focused on product design and furniture,
inner architecture, exhibition design and public instalations.
Nevertheless independent projects, in which he deals with social aspects
of today´s society and visual culture, remain important part of the creative process.
Combining of a commercial and independent aspects of product design is a main challenge of his work.
